Project Manager:
The self-motivated and detail-orientated Project Manager will assume a pivotal position within assigned projects. Providing leadership and mentoring to junior staff, utilizing technical design detail and client relation skills from project inception through construction administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in Architectural Project Management
- Project Management in Commercial, K-12, Higher ED, Healthcare, or Other Civic Projects
- Architectural License preferred, IDP Candidates also Considered
- Experience using Revit, SketchUp, and Specification Software
Responsibilities:
- Problem solving when issues arise throughout the project
- Review all documents and drawings prior to submittal
- Maintain communication with Owners and Consultants, attend all project meetings
- Meet all project deadlines
- Consult with Architects within agency on other projects
- Ensures project remains within Scope of Work
- Keep every project within budget by utilizing team (ie. Drafters, other staff) and exploring efficient alternatives when necessary. Assists with creating fees for future projects
- Reviews AIA contracts and administers contract as written
Drafter:
The responsible Drafter completes concepts for a variety of projects. Duties of the Drafter include providing support to our Architects and assisting in project needs. This position will play a critical role in Project Design.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency with Revit or similar software (2 years experience required)
- High detail in written and verbal communication
- High competency in general computer skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Highly independent and can work successfully alone for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to independently acquire knowledge and proficiency in additional software
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of Engineers or Architects
- Use computer-aided drafting Revit/CAD software programs and equipment or a conventional drafting station to create and modify architectural documents, designs, working drawings, forms, charts and records
- Analyze current building codes, by-laws and requirements to establish how they affect architectural drawings, and stay up to date on all required and relevant codes
- Bring together structural, mechanical, and electrical designs and create a way or a method of accurately arranging them to produce building designs that are understandable and feasible
- Draw detailed and rough scale plans for structures, foundations and buildings based upon preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets, engineering calculations and other provided data
- Design interior room arrangements for commercial buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software
- Acquire and assemble information needed to finish architectural drawings, visiting job sites when necessary to gather measurements
