In March 2003, Delta Construction of Fort Collins, Colorado, and GSG Architecture were selected as the design/build team for the new Larimer County Correctional Facility project in Fort Collins, Colorado. The new facility was built on an existing campus, within pre-existing design standards, with a residential feel to assist inmates during their transition back into public life.

At the request of Larimer County Commissioners, GSG designed a building that is highly functional and efficient to maximize the program area and respond to individual social needs. While clear definitions are created between public, client and staff areas, good connectivity and visual supervision is maintained. All materials used in the building were selected to minimize maintenance costs and provide surfaces that are durable and easy to clean.
