Project Description
This project consists of a new 101,800 sq. ft. building which will temporarily house 500-600 students during the Natrona County High School expansion and renovation. At the conclusion of this expansion, the building will be reconfigured to accommodate 80% of the high school’s physical fitness program and transition to become the Student Fitness & Activity Center. The SFAC will ultimately be home to four locker rooms (1,440 student lockers), 10 PE teaching areas, including a large fitness area, mat and wrestling room, and weight room on the mezzanine level. It will also provide a competition 200 meter track, 3 full-size high school basketball/volleyball/tennis courts, pole vault and long jump lanes and pits, along with flexible seating for approximately 1,200 spectators.
