The Youth Crisis Center in Casper is used primarily to temporarily house youth, ages ten through eighteen. They are either court ordered, are taken there by the police or sheriff’s department, or can be sent to the facility by parents who no longer have control of their children. GSG has assisted the Center in the past (1991) with design and construction of their facility and we again were requested to assist in designing a new facility as they had outgrown their current Center. The new Center is located next to Life Steps Campus on 12th Street and has a 32-bed capacity with auxiliary and core spaces necessary to support the residents.
